Planet Tree Music Festival - An afternoon of Merton themed music

James D’Angelo’s Merton-themed songs will be performed by the soprano Elisabeth Irvine and James D’Angelo at the Planet Tree Music Festival.  The poems are:  In Silence, Solitude, Stranger and A Song for Nobody. The other composers will be Scriabin, Part, Hovhaness, Satie and Catoire, all 20th-21st century composers.  The music will include clarinet and violin. 

The concert will be held on May 25th at 3:30pm at Colet House, London W14  9DA near Barons Court tube station.   There is a second concert at 6pm to follow that includes a dance company.  These concerts will employ special lighting effects.  

All TMSGBI members can have the concession price of £12 which includes the 2nd concert  if they choose to stay on.    If there are any questions about this, members can contact James D’Angelo at jamesdangelomusic@gmail.com.
